The Council is tasked with advising the Government and the States-General regarding generally binding regulations and the policy to be pursued by the State in the field of the administration of justice. The opinions of the Council are determined after consultation with the courts.
Chapter 4 of the Framework Act on Advisory Bodies (Kaderwet adviescolleges) shall apply mutatis mutandis.
De Raad heeft tot taak regering en Staten-Generaal te adviseren omtrent algemeen verbindende voorschriften en te voeren beleid van het Rijk op het terrein van de rechtspleging. De adviezen van de Raad worden vastgesteld na overleg met de gerechten.
Hoofdstuk 4 van de Kaderwet adviescolleges is van overeenkomstige toepassing.
