This Act shall enter into force on the first day of the fourth calendar month following the date of publication of the Bulletin of Acts and Decrees in which it is published.
If, prior to the time of entry into force of this Act, any body, other than a tenants' organization, is specifically active in representing the collective interests of the tenants with a landlord, that body shall be regarded as a tenants' organization for a period of two years following the entry into force of this Act, but no later than the time at which a tenants' organization has been established for the tenants concerned.
The obligation for the tenants' organization to submit a budget, as referred to in Article 7, paragraph 4, must, for the calendar year in which this Act enters into force, be submitted within two months after the entry into force of this Act.
Deze wet treedt in werking met ingang van de eerste dag van de vierde kalendermaand na de datum van uitgifte van het Staatsblad waarin zij wordt geplaatst.
Indien voor het tijdstip van inwerkingtreding van deze wet enig orgaan, niet zijnde een huurdersorganisatie, in het bijzonder werkzaam is ter behartiging van de gemeenschappelijke belangen van de huurders bij een verhuurder, wordt dat orgaan tot twee jaar na de inwerkingtreding van deze wet, doch uiterlijk tot het tijdstip met ingang waarvan een huurdersorganisatie voor de betrokken huurders is opgericht, aangemerkt als huurdersorganisatie.
De in artikel 7, vierde lid, genoemde verplichting voor de huurdersorganisatie tot indiening van een begroting dient voor het kalenderjaar waarin deze wet in werking treedt, te worden ingediend binnen twee maanden na de inwerkingtreding van deze wet.
