The costs of a works committee (bedrijfscommissie) shall, insofar as they are not provided for in another manner, be borne by the organisations of employers and employees referred to in Article 38, in proportion to the number of members they appoint.
Where an organization fails to pay its contribution to the costs of the works council (bedrijfscommissie) within the period set by the works council, the Council may revoke the designation of that organization, without prejudice to the organization's liability to pay its share of the costs already incurred. Upon such revocation, the membership of the works council of the members and substitute members appointed by that organization shall terminate, effective from the moment the decision of the Council is received by the works council.
De kosten van een bedrijfscommissie worden, voor zover daarin niet op andere wijze wordt voorzien, door de in artikel 38 bedoelde organisaties van ondernemers en werknemers gedragen, naar evenredigheid van het aantal leden dat zij benoemen.
Wanneer een organisatie in gebreke blijft binnen de termijn, door de bedrijfscommissie gesteld, haar bijdrage in de kosten van de bedrijfscommissie te voldoen, kan de Raad de aanwijzing van die organisatie intrekken, onverminderd de aansprakelijkheid van de organisatie tot het betalen van haar aandeel in de reeds gemaakte kosten. Door de intrekking vervalt het lidmaatschap van de bedrijfscommissie van de door die organisatie benoemde leden en plaatsvervangende leden, te rekenen van het tijdstip waarop het besluit van de Raad bij de bedrijfscommissie inkomt.
