Article 17

The entrepreneur is obliged to grant the works council, the committees of that council, and, if the entrepreneur has appointed a secretary to the works council, the secretary of that council, the use of the facilities at his disposal in that capacity which the works council, the committees, and the secretary of that council reasonably require for the performance of their duties. The entrepreneur shall enable the works council and the committees of that council to consult the persons employed in the enterprise and shall provide these persons with the opportunity to cooperate therein, all this insofar as it is reasonably necessary for the performance of the duties of the council and the committees.
The works council and the committees of that council shall meet as much as possible during normal working hours.
The members of the works council and the members of the committees of that council shall retain their entitlement to wages or remuneration for the time during which they have not performed the stipulated work as a result of attending a meeting of the works council or of a committee of that council.
De ondernemer is verplicht de ondernemingsraad, de commissies van die raad, en, indien de ondernemer aan de ondernemingsraad een secretaris heeft toegevoegd, de secretaris van die raad het gebruik toe te staan van de voorzieningen waarover hij als zodanig kan beschikken en die de ondernemingsraad, de commissies en de secretaris van die raad voor de vervulling van hun taak redelijkerwijze nodig hebben. De ondernemer stelt de ondernemingsraad en de commissies van die raad in staat de in de onderneming werkzame personen te raadplegen en stelt deze personen in de gelegenheid hieraan hun medewerking te verlenen, een en ander voor zover dat redelijkerwijs noodzakelijk is voor de vervulling van de taak van de raad en de commissies.
De ondernemingsraad en de commissies van die raad vergaderen zoveel mogelijk tijdens de normale arbeidstijd.
De leden van de ondernemingsraad en de leden van de commissies van die raad behouden voor de tijd gedurende welke zij ten gevolge van het bijwonen van een vergadering van de ondernemingsraad of van een commissie van die raad niet de bedongen arbeid hebben verricht, hun aanspraak op loon dan wel bezoldiging.
