The person subject to the integration requirement who indicates during the broad intake that they wish to follow a vocational or higher education programme shall follow the language transition track if, in the opinion of the municipal executive, there is a high probability that, after following said track, they will be capable of obtaining a diploma in the aforementioned education.
The language bridging programme (taalschakeltraject) shall be understood to mean a course of education as referred to in Article 7.3.1, paragraph 1, subparagraph f, of the Adult and Vocational Education Act (Wet educatie en beroepsonderwijs) at an institution with diploma recognition as referred to in Article 1.4a.1 of the Adult and Vocational Education Act, which course of education is aimed at guiding non-native speakers towards vocational or higher education.
The obligation to complete the Labour Market and Participation module shall not apply to the person integrated-obliged who is following or has completed the language bridging programme.
If the person subject to the integration requirement has not successfully completed the education route, he has passed the integration examination if he has satisfied the examination components:
oral and written skills in the Dutch language at least at level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Modern Foreign Languages; and
knowledge of Dutch society
De inburgeringsplichtige die tijdens de brede intake aangeeft een opleiding in het beroeps- of hoger onderwijs te willen volgen, volgt het taalschakeltraject indien naar het oordeel van het college een grote kans bestaat dat deze na het volgen van dat traject in staat is om in het genoemde onderwijs een diploma te behalen.
Onder het taalschakeltraject wordt verstaan een opleiding educatie als bedoeld in artikel 7.3.1, eerste lid, onderdeel f, van de Wet educatie en beroepsonderwijs aan een instelling met diploma-erkenning als bedoeld in artikel 1.4a.1 van de Wet educatie en beroepsonderwijs, welke opleiding is gericht op het begeleiden van anderstaligen richting het beroeps- of hoger onderwijs.
De verplichting om de module Arbeidsmarkt en Participatie af te ronden is niet van toepassing op de inburgeringsplichtige die het taalschakeltraject volgt of heeft afgerond.
Indien de inburgeringsplichtige de onderwijsroute niet heeft behaald, heeft deze het inburgeringsexamen behaald, indien hij heeft voldaan aan de examenonderdelen:
mondelinge en schriftelijke vaardigheden in de Nederlandse taal op ten minste het niveau B1 van het Gemeenschappelijk Europees Referentiekader voor Moderne Vreemde Talen; en
kennis van de Nederlandse maatschappij.
