Charged with the investigation of economic offences are:
the officials designated by or pursuant to Article 141 of the Code of Criminal Procedure;
the officials designated by Our Minister of Security and Justice, in accordance with Our other Ministers concerned;
the officials of the Tax and Customs Administration, competent in customs matters.
All officials charged with the investigation of economic offences are likewise charged with the investigation of the economic offences referred to in Articles 26, 33 and 34.
Article 142, paragraphs 2 and 4, of the Code of Criminal Procedure shall apply mutatis mutandis to the investigative officers referred to in the first paragraph, under 2° and 3°.
Notice of a decision as referred to in the first paragraph, under 2°, shall be given by publication in the Government Gazette (Staatscourant).
Met de opsporing van economische delicten zijn belast:
de bij of krachtens artikel 141 van het Wetboek van Strafvordering aangewezen ambtenaren;
de door Onze Minister van Veiligheid en Justitie, in overeenstemming met Onze andere Ministers, wie het aangaat, aangewezen ambtenaren;
de ambtenaren van de rijksbelastingdienst, bevoegd inzake douane.
Alle met de opsporing van economische delicten belaste ambtenaren zijn tevens belast met de opsporing van de economische delicten, genoemd in de artikelen 26, 33 en 34.
Artikel 142, tweede en vierde lid, van het Wetboek van Strafvordering is van overeenkomstige toepassing op de in het eerste lid, onder 2° en 3°, bedoelde opsporingsambtenaren.
Van een besluit als bedoeld in het eerste lid, onder 2°, wordt mededeling gedaan door plaatsing in de Staatscourant.
