For the purposes of this Section, the following definitions apply:
public authority: administrative authority as referred to in Article 1:1, first paragraph, point (a), of the General Administrative Law Act, and persons or bodies as referred to in the second paragraph;
basic registration: a collection of data which, by law, is determined to contain authentic data;
authentic data: data included in a basic registration which has been designated as authentic by or pursuant to an Act of Parliament.
In addition to the first paragraph, the term public body (overheidsorgaan) also includes those persons or bodies designated by ministerial regulation that perform a public task, insofar as such designation is, in the opinion of Our Minister, necessary with a view to the proper performance of their public task.
Voor de toepassing van deze paragraaf wordt verstaan onder:
overheidsorgaan: bestuursorgaan als bedoeld in artikel 1:1, eerste lid, onderdeel a, van de Algemene wet bestuursrecht en personen of instanties als bedoeld in het tweede lid;
basisregistratie: verzameling gegevens waarvan bij wet is bepaald dat deze authentieke gegevens bevat;
authentiek gegeven: in een basisregistratie opgenomen gegeven dat bij of krachtens wet als authentiek is aangemerkt.
In aanvulling op het eerste lid wordt onder overheidsorgaan mede verstaan de bij ministeriële regeling aangewezen personen of instanties die een publieke taak uitoefenen, voor zover die aanwijzing naar het oordeel van Onze Minister noodzakelijk is met het oog op een goede uitoefening van hun publieke taak.
