The presiding judge is authorised to have petitions that are identical or substantially identical joined for consideration by the Rent Tribunal (huurcommissie).
De voorzitter is bevoegd verzoeken welke gelijkluidend dan wel nagenoeg gelijkluidend zijn gevoegd door de huurcommissie te laten behandelen.
