Cases concerning minors brought before the court, with the exception of those concerning the maintenance of a minor, shall be heard by the juvenile judge (kinderrechter). If the latter refers the case to the full-bench chamber, the juvenile judge shall participate in the oral hearing.
Zaken betreffende minderjarigen die bij de rechtbank aanhangig worden gemaakt, uitgezonderd die welke het levensonderhoud van een minderjarige betreffen, worden behandeld door de kinderrechter. Indien deze de zaak naar de meervoudige kamer verwijst, neemt de kinderrechter aan de mondelinge behandeling deel.
