For the maintenance of a supplementary protection certificate, an amount to be determined by or pursuant to an order in council must be paid to the office each year, for the first time starting from the year in which the statutory term of the basic patent has expired. This amount shall be paid no later than the last day of the month in which the statutory term of the basic patent has expired. Articles 61, paragraph 3, and 62 of this Kingdom Act shall apply mutatis mutandis.
Voor de instandhouding van een aanvullend beschermingscertificaat moet elk jaar, voor het eerst vanaf het jaar waarin de wettelijke duur van het basisoctrooi is verstreken, aan het bureau een bij of krachtens algemene maatregel van bestuur vast te stellen bedrag worden betaald. Dit bedrag wordt uiterlijk voldaan op de laatste dag van de maand waarin de wettelijke duur van het basisoctrooi is verstreken. De artikelen 61, derde lid, en 62 van deze rijkswet zijn van overeenkomstige toepassing.
