If the State itself is the holder of a patent application and Our Minister of Defence notifies the office that the contents thereof must remain secret in the interest of the defence of the Kingdom or its allies, the registration of the application in the patent register shall be suspended until Our aforementioned Minister notifies the office that the contents of the application no longer need to remain secret.
Indien de Staat zelf houder van een octrooiaanvrage is en Onze Minister van Defensie aan het bureau bekendmaakt, dat de inhoud daarvan in het belang van de verdediging van het Koninkrijk of zijn bondgenoten geheim moet blijven, wordt de inschrijving in het octrooiregister van de aanvrage opgeschort, totdat Onze genoemde minister aan het bureau bekendmaakt, dat de inhoud van de aanvrage niet langer geheim behoeft te blijven.
