'Own funds' shall be understood to mean:
the money which the person being nursed has in his possession upon entry into the institution;
the money that is received for his benefit during his stay in the institution;
the remuneration for the performance of work and the wages, as referred to in Article 46, paragraph 2, of the Act.
The management of the patient's own funds rests with the head of the institution, unless otherwise provided in the nursing and treatment plan.
Where the person being cared for does not have control over his own money, he shall have the disposal of a current account at the institution.
Onder eigen geld wordt verstaan:
het geld dat de verpleegde bij binnenkomst in de inrichting in zijn bezit heeft;
het geld dat tijdens zijn verblijf in de inrichting te zijnen gunste wordt ontvangen;
de vergoeding voor het verrichten van werkzaamheden en het arbeidsloon, bedoeld in artikel 46, tweede lid, van de wet.
Het beheer van het eigen geld van de verpleegde berust bij het hoofd van de inrichting, tenzij in het verplegings- en behandelingsplan anders is bepaald.
Wanneer de verpleegde geen beheer over zijn eigen geld heeft, heeft hij de beschikking over een rekening-courant bij de inrichting.
