Each police training programme or group of police training programmes and each training programme as referred to in Article 74, paragraph 1, under a, under 2°, which is concluded with an examination, or group of such training programmes at the Police Academy shall have an examination board. Article 7.12, paragraph 2, of the Higher Education and Scientific Research Act applies to the examination board.
The director of the Police Academy shall establish the examination board and appoint the members of the examination board. Articles 7.12a and 7.12b of the Higher Education and Scientific Research Act shall apply mutatis mutandis to the appointment, composition, duties, and powers of the examination board.
The members of the examination board shall perform their duties without mandate or consultation.
The examination board shall appoint examiners for the purpose of conducting examinations and determining the results thereof. The examiners shall provide the examination board with the requested information.
Elke politieopleiding of groep van politieopleidingen en elke opleiding als bedoeld in artikel 74, eerste lid, onder a, onder 2°, die wordt afgesloten met een examen, of groep van dergelijke opleidingen aan de Politieacademie heeft een examencommissie. Artikel 7.12, tweede lid, van de Wet op het hoger onderwijs en wetenschappelijk onderwijs is op de examencommissie van toepassing.
De directeur van de Politieacademie stelt de examencommissie in en benoemt de leden van de examencommissie. Op de benoeming, samenstelling, taken en bevoegdheden van de examencommissie zijn de artikelen 7.12a en 7.12b van de Wet op het hoger onderwijs en wetenschappelijk onderzoek van overeenkomstige toepassing.
De leden van de examencommissie oefenen hun taak uit zonder last of ruggespraak.
Voor het afnemen van examens en het vaststellen van de uitslag daarvan wijst de examencommissie examinatoren aan. De examinatoren verstrekken de examencommissie de gevraagde inlichtingen.
