Every police training programme shall be concluded with an examination. Other training programmes provided by the Police Academy may be concluded with an examination.
The examination comprises an investigation into the knowledge, insight, skills, and professional attitude of the examinee, as well as the assessment of the results of that investigation based on the requirements set out in the qualification dossier.
The director of the Police Academy shall provide the students with the opportunity to take an examination.
The examination of a police training programme or other training programme of which a practical professional training component forms part, is only successfully completed if both the practical professional training component and the remaining part of the police training programme have been successfully completed.
As proof that an examination has been successfully completed, a diploma, partial diploma or certificate shall be issued by the examination board, after the director of the Police Academy has declared that the procedural requirements for issuance have been met.
Elke politieopleiding wordt afgesloten met een examen. Overige door de Politieacademie verzorgde opleidingen kunnen worden afgesloten met een examen.
Het examen omvat een onderzoek naar de kennis, het inzicht, de vaardigheden en de beroepshouding van de examinandus alsmede de beoordeling van de uitkomsten van dat onderzoek aan de hand van de vereisten in het kwalificatiedossier.
De directeur van de Politieacademie geeft de studenten de gelegenheid een examen af te leggen.
Het examen van een politieopleiding of overige opleiding waarvan een beroepspraktijkvorming deel uitmaakt, is eerst dan met goed gevolg afgesloten indien zowel de beroepspraktijkvorming als het overige deel van de politieopleiding met goed gevolg is afgesloten.
Ten bewijze dat een examen met goed gevolg is afgelegd, wordt door de examencommissie een diploma, deeldiploma of certificaat uitgereikt, nadat de directeur van de Politieacademie heeft verklaard dat aan de procedurele eisen voor de afgifte is voldaan.
