The supervisory authority shall, in deviation from Article 204, paragraph 1, provide confidential data or information obtained in the performance of the task assigned to it pursuant to this Act, to a committee as referred to in Article 2, paragraph 2, of the Parliamentary Inquiry Act 2008 (Wet op de parlementaire enquête 2008), insofar as the data or information are, in the opinion of that committee, necessary for the fulfillment of its task. Article 208, paragraph 3, shall apply mutatis mutandis.
The committee, referred to in the first paragraph, is bound by a duty of confidentiality regarding the confidential data or information received pursuant to the first paragraph and may only disclose such data or information if they cannot be traced back to individual persons.
De toezichthouder verstrekt, in afwijking van artikel 204, eerste lid, vertrouwelijke gegevens of inlichtingen verkregen bij de uitvoering van de hem ingevolge deze wet opgedragen taak, aan een commissie als bedoeld in artikel 2, tweede lid, van de Wet op de parlementaire enquête 2008, voor zover de gegevens of inlichtingen naar het oordeel van die commissie noodzakelijk zijn voor de vervulling van haar taak. Artikel 208, derde lid, is van overeenkomstige toepassing.
De commissie, bedoeld in het eerste lid, is verplicht tot geheimhouding van de op grond van het eerste lid ontvangen vertrouwelijke gegevens of inlichtingen en kan die slechts openbaar maken indien deze niet te herleiden zijn tot afzonderlijke personen.
