in forceFILING OF A EUROPEAN PATENT APPLICATION AND THE REQUIREMENTS TO BE COMPLIED WITH
A European patent application shall contain:
a request for the grant of a European patent;
a description of the invention;
one or more claims;
any drawings referred to in the description or the claims;
an abstract,
and satisfy the requirements laid down in the Implementing Regulations.
A European patent application shall be subject to the payment of the filing fee and the search fee. If the filing fee or the search fee is not paid in due time, the application shall be deemed to be withdrawn.
Een Europese octrooiaanvrage dient te bevatten:
een verzoek om verlening van een Europees octrooi;
een beschrijving van de uitvinding;
een of meer conclusies;
de tekeningen waarnaar de beschrijving of de conclusies verwijzen;
een uittreksel,
en dient aan de vereisten die zijn vastgesteld in het Uitvoeringsreglement te voldoen.
Voor een Europese octrooiaanvrage dienen de indieningstaks en de taks voor het nieuwheidsonderzoek te worden betaald. Indien de indieningstaks of de taks voor het nieuwheidsonderzoek niet tijdig is betaald, wordt de aanvrage geacht te zijn ingetrokken.
