Each jointly and severally liable debtor is authorised to accept, on behalf of the other debtors, an offer to waive the right of action for no consideration, insofar as the waiver also concerns the other debtors.
Suspension of payment, granted by the creditor to one of the debtors, also operates in respect of his co-debtors, insofar as it appears that this is the intention of the creditor.
Iedere hoofdelijke schuldenaar is bevoegd namens de overige schuldenaren een aanbod tot afstand om niet van het vorderingsrecht te aanvaarden, voor zover de afstand ook de andere schuldenaren betreft.
Uitstel van betaling, door de schuldeiser aan een der schuldenaren verleend, werkt ook ten aanzien van zijn medeschuldenaren, voor zover blijkt dat dit de bedoeling van de schuldeiser is.
