If the creditor is in default, the court may, upon a claim by the debtor, determine that the latter shall be discharged from his obligation, whether or not subject to conditions to be imposed by the court.
Is de schuldeiser in verzuim, dan kan de rechter op vordering van de schuldenaar bepalen dat deze van zijn verbintenis bevrijd zal zijn, al dan niet onder door de rechter te stellen voorwaarden.
