Article 6:135

A debtor is not entitled to set-off:
a.
insofar as an attachment of the claim of the opposing party would not be valid;
b.
if his obligation extends to the compensation of damage which he has intentionally caused.
Een schuldenaar is niet bevoegd tot verrekening:
a.
voor zover beslag op de vordering van de wederpartij niet geldig zou zijn;
b.
indien zijn verplichting strekt tot vergoeding van schade die hij opzettelijk heeft toegebracht.
