Article 1:281

Guardianship ends on the day on which the decision has become final and binding (in kracht van gewijsde) by which:
the guardian has been discharged or the guardianship has been terminated;
the parental authority over the minor under his guardianship has been assigned to one or both parents; or
guardianship has been assigned to another guardian in accordance with Article 299a of this Book.
If a decision as referred to in the first paragraph has been declared provisionally enforceable, the guardianship shall end on the day after the decision has been issued or dispatched.
De voogdij eindigt op de dag, waarop in kracht van gewijsde is gegaan de beschikking waarbij:
de voogd is ontslagen of de voogdij is beëindigd;
het gezag over de onder zijn voogdij staande minderjarige aan een of beide ouders is opgedragen; of
de voogdij overeenkomstig artikel 299a van dit boek aan een andere voogd is opgedragen.
Is een beschikking als in het eerste lid bedoeld, uitvoerbaar verklaard bij voorraad, dan eindigt de voogdij daags nadat de beschikking is verstrekt of verzonden.
