Article 1:211

1.
A petition for a declaration of the validity of a claim to status may be filed:
a.
by the child itself;
b.
by the heirs of the child, if the child has died during his minority or within three years thereafter.
2.
If the child had filed a petition (application) as referred to in paragraph 1, his heirs may continue the proceedings.

Een verzoek tot gegrondverklaring van de inroeping van staat kan worden ingediend:
a.
door het kind zelf;
b.
door de erfgenamen van het kind, indien het kind gedurende zijn minderjarigheid of binnen drie jaren nadien is overleden.
2.
Indien het kind een verzoek als bedoeld in het eerste lid had ingediend, kunnen zijn erfgenamen de procedure voortzetten.
