The Director-General shall submit proposals to the Board of Management for the amendment of the implementing regulations.
He shall take all measures, including administrative ones, to ensure the proper performance of the tasks of the Office.
He executes the internal and financial regulations of the Bureau and submits proposals to the Board of Directors for the amendment thereof.
He appoints the staff members and exercises hierarchical and disciplinary powers over them.
He prepares the budget, executes it, and draws up the annual accounts.
He shall take all other measures that he deems desirable in the interest of the functioning of the Office.
De Directeur-Generaal doet voorstellen aan de Raad van Bestuur tot wijziging van het uitvoeringsreglement.
Hij neemt alle maatregelen, administratieve daaronder begrepen, om te zorgen voor een juiste uitvoering van de taken van het Bureau.
Hij voert het huishoudelijk en het financieel reglement van het Bureau uit en doet voorstellen aan de Raad van Bestuur tot wijziging hiervan.
Hij benoemt de personeelsleden en oefent de hiërarchische en disciplinaire bevoegdheden over hen uit.
Hij bereidt de begroting voor, voert deze uit en stelt de jaarrekeningen op.
Hij neemt alle andere maatregelen die hij wenselijk acht in het belang van het functioneren van het Bureau.
