The registrar of births, deaths, marriages and registered partnerships shall ensure that the records are clearly legible and drawn up in the Dutch language, with due observance of the provisions of Article 16, paragraph 4, of the Frisian Language Use Act.
In certificates of civil status, he shall indicate entries that are not applicable by means of a horizontal dash.
He shall sign every deed and every subsequent entry.
De ambtenaar van de burgerlijke stand zorgt ervoor dat de akten duidelijk leesbaar zijn en in de Nederlandse taal gesteld, met inachtneming van het bepaalde in artikel 16, vierde lid, van de Wet gebruik Friese taal.
In staatakten geeft hij vermeldingen die niet van toepassing zijn, aan door een liggend streepje.
Hij ondertekent iedere akte en iedere latere vermelding.
