The copyright in a cinematographic work shall expire seventy years after the first of January of the year following the year of death of the last survivor of the following persons: the principal director, the author of the screenplay, the author of the dialogue, and the composer of music specifically created for use in the cinematographic work.
Het auteursrecht op een filmwerk vervalt door verloop van 70 jaren, te rekenen van de 1e januari van het jaar, volgende op het sterfjaar van de langstlevende van de volgende personen: de hoofdregisseur, de scenarioschrijver, de schrijver van de dialogen en degene die ten behoeve van het filmwerk de muziek heeft gemaakt.
