The reproduction or communication to the public that is intended exclusively for persons with a disability, provided that it is directly related to the disability, is of a non-commercial nature, and is necessary by reason of that disability, shall not be considered an infringement of the copyright in a literary, scientific or artistic work, without prejudice to the provisions of Article 15j.

For the reproduction or disclosure referred to in the first paragraph, an equitable remuneration is due to the author or their successors in title.

Als inbreuk op het auteursrecht op een werk van letterkunde, wetenschap of kunst wordt niet beschouwd de verveelvoudiging of openbaarmaking die uitsluitend bestemd is voor mensen met een handicap, mits deze direct met de handicap verband houdt, van niet commerciële aard is en wegens die handicap noodzakelijk is, onverminderd het bepaalde in artikel 15j.

Voor de verveelvoudiging of openbaarmaking, bedoeld in het eerste lid, is ten behoeve van de maker of diens rechtverkrijgenden een billijke vergoeding verschuldigd.
