Article 2:8
in forceScope of application · § Extension of applicability
This Act and the provisions based thereon shall also apply:
to work performed on or from a mining installation on the continental shelf as referred to in the Mining Act (Mijnbouwwet);
to work performed entirely or partially outside the Netherlands by persons employed on board sea-going vessels which, on the basis of legal rules applicable to the Netherlands, are entitled to fly the flag of the Kingdom;
to diving operations for the benefit of mining installations on the continental shelf, as referred to in the Mining Act (Mijnbouwwet), performed on or from a seagoing vessel;
on labour which is performed, in whole or in part, outside the Netherlands for an employer established in the Netherlands by persons employed:
on board aircraft;
in or on motor vehicles;
in or on rail vehicles;
work performed within the exclusive economic zone, with the exception of the work referred to under a and c.
Deze wet en de daarop berustende bepalingen zijn mede van toepassing:
op arbeid verricht op of vanaf een mijnbouwinstallatie op het continentaal plat als bedoeld in de Mijnbouwwet;
op arbeid welke geheel of ten dele buiten Nederland wordt verricht door personen, werkzaam aan boord van zeeschepen die op grond van voor Nederland geldende rechtsregels gerechtigd zijn de vlag van het Koninkrijk te voeren;
op duikwerkzaamheden ten behoeve van mijnbouwinstallaties op het continentaal plat, bedoeld in de Mijnbouwwet, verricht op of vanaf een zeeschip;
op arbeid, welke voor een in Nederland gevestigde werkgever, geheel of ten dele buiten Nederland wordt verricht door personen, werkzaam:
aan boord van luchtvaartuigen;
in of op motorrijtuigen;
in of op spoorvoertuigen;
arbeid verricht binnen de exclusieve economische zone, met uitzondering van de arbeid, bedoeld onder a en c.
