The old-age pension shall commence on the day on which the interested party satisfies the conditions for the entitlement to an old-age pension.
By way of derogation from the provisions of the first paragraph, an old-age pension may not commence earlier than the first day of the twelfth month preceding the day on which the application was submitted or preceding the day on which the ex officio award took place. The Social Insurance Bank (Sociale verzekeringsbank) may deviate from the provisions of the preceding sentence in special cases.
Het ouderdomspensioen gaat in op de dag waarop de belanghebbende aan de voorwaarden voor het recht op ouderdomspensioen voldoet.
In afwijking van het bepaalde in het eerste lid kan een ouderdomspensioen niet vroeger ingaan dan de eerste dag van de twaalfde maand vóór de dag waarop de aanvraag werd ingediend of vóór de dag waarop ambtshalve toekenning plaatsvond. De Sociale verzekeringsbank kan voor bijzondere gevallen van het bepaalde in de vorige volzin afwijken.
