Personal data may be processed by the Financial Intelligence Unit for the purpose of the task referred to in Article 13.
Rules shall be established by Order in Council concerning the categories of persons regarding whom the Financial Intelligence Unit processes data, the provision of data and links with other collections of personal data, the retention and destruction of data, and the duty to maintain logs.
The processing of personal data by the Financial Intelligence Unit shall be subject to the mutatis mutandis application of Articles 1, 2, 3, paragraphs one and two, 4, 4a, 4b, 4c, 5, 6, 6a, 6b, 6c, 7, 7a, 15, 15a, 16, paragraph one, points (a) and (b), 17, 17a, 18, 22 and 23, 24a up to and including 33b, as well as Articles 35 up to and including 36 of the Police Data Act, on the understanding that Our Minister of Justice and Security shall be designated as the controller within the meaning of Article 1, point (f), of that Act for the Financial Intelligence Unit.
Bij de Financiële inlichtingen eenheid kunnen persoonsgegevens worden verwerkt ten behoeve van de taak, bedoeld in artikel 13.
Bij algemene maatregel van bestuur worden regels gesteld over de categorieën van personen waarover de Financiële inlichtingen eenheid gegevens verwerkt, de gegevensverstrekking en verbanden met andere verzamelingen van persoonsgegevens, de bewaring en vernietiging van gegevens en de protocolplicht.
Op de verwerking van persoonsgegevens door de Financiële inlichtingen eenheid zijn de artikelen 1, 2, 3, eerste en tweede lid, 4, 4a, 4b, 4c, 5, 6, 6a, 6b, 6c, 7, 7a, 15, 15a, 16, eerste lid, onderdelen a en b, 17, 17a, 18, 22 en 23, 24a tot en met 33b, alsmede de artikelen 35 tot en met 36 van de Wet politiegegevens van overeenkomstige toepassing, met dien verstande dat voor de Financiële inlichtingen eenheid als verwerkingsverantwoordelijke in de zin van artikel 1, onderdeel f, van die wet wordt aangemerkt Onze Minister van Justitie en Veiligheid.
