The master of any vessel shall, upon the first demand of an official who has access to his vessel by virtue of any statutory provision, provide said official with the opportunity to board or disembark.
In the lawful exercise of his office, the official is not subject to the authority of the skipper of a vessel over the persons on board.
De schipper van enig vaartuig geeft aan de ambtenaar, die krachtens enige wetsbepaling toegang heeft tot zijn vaartuig, op diens eerste vordering gelegenheid zich aan of van boord te begeven.
De ambtenaar is in de rechtmatige uitoefening van zijn bediening niet onderworpen aan het gezag van de schipper van een vaartuig over de opvarenden.
