Investigative officers shall have access to all places insofar as this is reasonably necessary for the performance of their duties. The commander and the skipper may enter all places for the purpose of arresting a suspect or for the seizure of items, insofar as this is reasonably necessary for the performance of their duties.
Notwithstanding the provisions of Article 2, paragraph 1, of the General Act on Entry (Algemene wet op het binnentreden) (Bulletin of Acts and Decrees 1994, 572), the investigative officers referred to in the first paragraph are authorised to enter without an authorisation.
De opsporingsambtenaren hebben toegang tot alle plaatsen voor zover dat redelijkerwijs voor de vervulling van hun taak nodig is. De commandant en de schipper kunnen ter aanhouding van de verdachte of ter inbeslagneming alle plaatsen betreden, voor zover dat redelijkerwijs voor de vervulling van hun taak nodig is.
De in het eerste lid bedoelde opsporingsambtenaren zijn in afwijking van artikel 2, eerste lid, van de Algemene wet op het binnentreden (Stb. 1994, 572) bevoegd om zonder machtiging binnen te treden.
