Article 118a

The Public Prosecution Service may, ex officio or at the request of the person whose property has been seized or of any other interested party, order the restitution of an object that has been seized pursuant to Article 94a, subject to the provision of security.
The security shall consist of the deposit of monetary values by the judgment debtor or a third party, or of the undertaking of a third party as a guarantee, for an amount and in a manner as accepted by the Public Prosecution Service.
Het openbaar ministerie kan ambtshalve of op verzoek van de beslagene of van een andere belanghebbende een voorwerp dat op grond van artikel 94a in beslag is genomen onder zekerheidsstelling doen teruggeven.
De zekerheid bestaat in de storting van geldswaarden door de beslagene of een derde, of in de verbintenis van een derde als waarborg, voor een bedrag en op een wijze als door het openbaar ministerie wordt aanvaard.
