Any person who transports another person across the borders of the Kingdom in Europe, with the intent to unlawfully place that person under the power of another or to abandon that person in a helpless state, shall be punished, as guilty of kidnapping, by a term of imprisonment not exceeding twelve years or a fine of the fifth category.
Hij die iemand over de grenzen van het Rijk in Europa voert, met het oogmerk om hem wederrechtelijk onder de macht van een ander te brengen of om hem in hulpeloze toestand te verplaatsen, wordt, als schuldig aan mensenroof, gestraft met gevangenisstraf van ten hoogste twaalf jaren of geldboete van de vijfde categorie.
