When the endorsement contains the statement: "value for collection", "for collection", "in mandate" or any other statement entailing a mere instruction for collection, the holder may exercise all rights arising from the cheque, but he may not endorse it otherwise than by way of mandate.
The cheque debtors may in that case invoke against the holder only the defences which could be invoked against the endorser.
The mandate contained in an endorsement for collection does not terminate by the death or by the subsequent incapacity of the principal.
Wanneer het endossement de vermelding bevat: "waarde ter incasseering", "ter incasso", "in lastgeving" of eenige andere vermelding, met zich brengend een bloote opdracht tot inning, kan de houder alle uit de chèque voortvloeiende rechten uitoefenen, maar hij kan deze niet anders endosseeren dan bijwege van lastgeving.
De chèqueschuldenaren kunnen in dat geval aan den houder slechts de verweermiddelen tegenwerpen, welke aan den endossant zouden kunnen worden tegengeworpen.
De opdracht, vervat in een incasso-endossement, eindigt niet door den dood of door de latere onbekwaamheid van den lastgever.
