The UWV shall pay the benefit to which a right exists pursuant to this Act.
The UWV shall suspend (opschorten) or stay (schorsen) the payment of the benefit if, on the basis of clear indications, it is of the opinion or has a well-founded suspicion that:
the right to a benefit does not exist or no longer exists;
the right to a lower benefit exists; or
the employee has failed to comply with an obligation imposed on him pursuant to Articles 24, 25 or 26.
If a reintegration company has reported to the UWV that there is a well-founded suspicion that a person to whom a benefit under this Act has been granted is providing insufficient cooperation with the activities of the reintegration company relating to him, the UWV shall take a decision regarding the full or partial suspension (opschorting) or stay (schorsing) of the payment of the benefit to that person for a duration of at most eight weeks.
The UWV shall notify the reintegration company of a decision to suspend or stay as referred to in the third paragraph.
Het UWV betaalt de uitkering waarop op grond van deze wet recht bestaat.
Het UWV schort de betaling van de uitkering op of schorst de betaling, indien het op grond van duidelijke aanwijzingen van oordeel is of het gegronde vermoeden heeft, dat:
het recht op uitkering niet of niet meer bestaat;
recht op een lagere uitkering bestaat; of
de werknemer een verplichting, hem op grond van de artikelen 24, 25 of 26 opgelegd, niet is nagekomen.
Indien een reïntegratiebedrijf aan het UWV heeft gemeld dat het gegronde vermoeden bestaat dat een persoon aan wie een uitkering op grond van deze wet is toegekend onvoldoende medewerking verleent aan de op hem betrekking hebbende werkzaamheden van het reïntegratiebedrijf, neemt het UWV een besluit omtrent de gehele of gedeeltelijke opschorting of schorsing van de betaling van de uitkering aan die persoon voor de duur van ten hoogste acht weken.
Het UWV stelt het reïntegratiebedrijf in kennis van een besluit tot opschorting of schorsing als bedoeld in het derde lid.
