Without prejudice to Article 43c, public authorities are required to notify the Netherlands Vehicle Authority (Dienst Wegverkeer) in the manner determined by said authority of facts that have come to their knowledge in the exercise of their duties, in the event that these facts may give cause to proceed with the amendment or supplementation of the data recorded in the vehicle registration register, or may otherwise be of importance for the accuracy of such data.
Onverminderd artikel 43c zijn overheidsorganen gehouden om aan de Dienst Wegverkeer op de door deze dienst te bepalen wijze mededeling te doen van de hen in de uitoefening van hun functie ter kennis gekomen feiten, ingeval deze feiten aanleiding kunnen zijn om tot wijziging of aanvulling van de in het kentekenregister opgenomen gegevens over te gaan, dan wel anderszins van belang kunnen zijn voor de juistheid van deze gegevens.
