The Netherlands Vehicle Authority (RDW) shall revoke a national type-approval, individual approval, or UN/ECE approval granted by it if:
the person to whom the approval has been granted requests this; or
it appears that the approval was granted incorrectly.
The Netherlands Vehicle Authority (Dienst Wegverkeer) may suspend or revoke a national type approval, individual approval, or UN/ECE approval granted by it if:
the person to whom the approval has been granted represents or causes to be represented a vehicle or system, component, separate technical unit, vehicle part, accessory or equipment for a vehicle or a trailer thereof, or the provision for the protection of vehicle occupants and vulnerable road users as approved, while such approval does not correspond to the type for which the approval was granted;
the vehicle or system, component, separate technical unit, vehicle part, equipment or provision for a vehicle or a trailer thereof, or the provisions for the protection of occupants or vulnerable road users for which the approval has been granted, nevertheless constitutes a serious risk to health, safety, the environment or other aspects of the protection of the public interest;
the obligations referred to in Article 23, paragraph 2, 25 or 28, paragraph 2, are not complied with; or
the person to whom the approval has been granted acts in violation of one or more other obligations arising from the approval.
The Netherlands Vehicle Authority (Dienst Wegverkeer) may suspend a national type approval, individual approval, or UN/ECE approval granted by it if the approval appears to have been granted incorrectly.
De Dienst Wegverkeer trekt een door hem verleende nationale typegoedkeuring of -individuele goedkeuring of VN/ECE-goedkeuring in, indien:
degene aan wie de goedkeuring is verleend, daarom verzoekt; of
blijkt dat de goedkeuring ten onrechte is verleend.
De Dienst Wegverkeer kan een door hem verleende nationale typegoedkeuring of -individuele goedkeuring of VN/ECE-goedkeuring schorsen of intrekken indien:
degene aan wie de goedkeuring is verleend een voertuig of systeem, onderdeel, technische eenheid, voertuigdeel, uitrustingsstuk of voorziening voor een voertuig of aanhangwagen daarvan of de voorziening ter bescherming van inzittenden van voertuigen en kwetsbare weggebruikers doet of laat doorgaan voor goedgekeurd, terwijl die goedkeuring niet overeenstemt met het type waarvoor de goedkeuring is verleend;
het voertuig of systeem, onderdeel, technische eenheid, voertuigdeel, uitrustingsstuk of voorziening voor een voertuig of aanhangwagen daarvan of de voorzieningen ter bescherming van inzittenden of kwetsbare weggebruikers waarvoor de goedkeuring is verleend, desalniettemin een ernstig gevaar vormt voor de gezondheid, de veiligheid, het milieu of andere aspecten van de bescherming van het openbaar belang;
de verplichtingen, bedoeld in artikel 23, tweede lid, 25 of 28, tweede lid, niet worden nagekomen; of
degene aan wie de goedkeuring is verleend, handelt in strijd met een of meer andere uit de goedkeuring voortvloeiende verplichtingen.
De Dienst Wegverkeer kan een door hem verleende nationale typegoedkeuring of -individuele goedkeuring of VN/ECE-goedkeuring schorsen indien de goedkeuring ten onrechte lijkt te zijn verleend.
