A unilateral act intended to have legal effect and relating to a non-contractual obligation shall be formally valid if it satisfies the formal requirements of the law governing the non-contractual obligation in question or the law of the country in which the act is performed.
Een eenzijdige rechtshandeling met betrekking tot een niet-contractuele verbintenis is naar de vorm geldig, indien zij voldoet aan de vormvereisten van het recht dat op de niet-contractuele verbintenis van toepassing is, of van het recht van het land waar deze rechtshandeling is verricht.
