in forceIf a product is imported into a country of the Union where a patent exists that protects the process for manufacturing this product, the patentee shall have the same rights with respect to the imported product as are accorded to him by the legislation of the country of importation, on the basis of the process patent, with respect to products manufactured in that country.
Indien een voortbrengsel wordt ingevoerd in een land der Unie, waar een octrooi bestaat, dat de werkwijze om dit voortbrengsel te vervaardigen beschermt, zal de octrooihouder ten opzichte van het ingevoerde voortbrengsel alle rechten kunnen uitoefenen, welke de wetgeving van het land van invoer hem, op grond van het octrooi voor de werkwijze, ten opzichte van in het betrokken land vervaardigde voortbrengselen toekent.
