In the event of the application of Article 42, paragraph 1, the public prosecutor shall, after consultation with the competent foreign authorities, without delay determine the time and place at which the extradition shall take place.
The public prosecutor may, if necessary, with a view to extradition pursuant to the provisions of this section, order the arrest of the fugitive. Article 40, paragraphs 2 and 3, shall apply mutatis mutandis.
In the event of extradition pursuant to the provisions of this Section, Article 12 shall not apply.
In geval van toepassing van artikel 42, eerste lid, bepaalt de officier van justitie, na overleg met de bevoegde buitenlandse autoriteiten, onverwijld de tijd en de plaats waarop de uitlevering zal geschieden.
De officier van justitie kan, zo nodig, met het oog op de uitlevering krachtens de bepalingen van deze afdeling, de aanhouding van de voortvluchtige bevelen. Artikel 40, tweede en derde lid, is van overeenkomstige toepassing.
In geval van uitlevering krachtens de bepalingen van deze afdeling is artikel 12 niet van toepassing.
