Upon the claim of the public prosecutor, the court may order the detention of the requested person at the hearing.
2.
Before the hearing is closed, the court shall decide of its own motion regarding the detention of the requested person, provided that such person has been placed in custody or in police custody.

Op vordering van de officier van justitie kan de rechtbank ter zitting de gevangenneming van de opgeëiste persoon bevelen.
2.
Voordat het onderzoek ter zitting wordt gesloten, beslist de rechtbank ambtshalve omtrent de gevangenhouding van de opgeëiste persoon, zo deze in bewaring of in verzekering is gesteld.
