1.
The costs of the lapsed proceedings shall be offset by operation of law. The court may, however, if it considers there to be grounds for doing so, order a party to pay all or part of the costs.

Article 248 shall apply mutatis mutandis.

De kosten van de vervallen instantie worden van rechtswege gecompenseerd. De rechter kan echter, indien hij daartoe gronden aanwezig acht, een partij geheel of gedeeltelijk in de kosten veroordelen.

Artikel 248 is van overeenkomstige toepassing.
