The patent and the claim to a patent are susceptible to transfer or other succession, both with regard to the full right and with regard to a share therein.
The transfer and other transmission of the patent or of the right resulting from the patent application may be registered by the office in the patent register. A fee, to be determined by or pursuant to an Order in Council, is payable for the registration.
Het octrooi en de aanspraak op octrooi zijn zowel voor wat betreft het volle recht als voor wat betreft een aandeel daarin vatbaar voor overdracht of andere overgang.
De overdracht en andere overgang van het octrooi of van het recht, voortvloeiende uit de octrooiaanvrage, kunnen door het bureau worden ingeschreven in het octrooiregister. Voor de inschrijving is een bij of krachtens algemene maatregel van rijksbestuur vast te stellen bedrag verschuldigd.
