The examining magistrate may request the executing judicial authority to, prior to the decision regarding the surrender of the person who has been arrested on the basis of a European arrest warrant issued by said magistrate for the purpose of a criminal investigation directed against him:
to be heard in his presence or in the presence of a representative designated by him;
to be temporarily transferred to the Netherlands.
De rechter-commissaris kan de uitvoerende justitiële autoriteit verzoeken om de persoon die op basis van een door hem afgegeven Europees aanhoudingsbevel ten behoeve van een tegen hem gericht strafrechtelijk onderzoek is aangehouden, voorafgaand aan de beslissing over diens overlevering:
te horen in zijn aanwezigheid dan wel in de aanwezigheid van een door hem aangewezen vertegenwoordiger;
tijdelijk over te brengen naar Nederland.
