The application for an environmental permit shall be submitted to the municipal executive (college van burgemeester en wethouders) of the municipality where the activity or activities will be carried out in their entirety or for the most part. If the application relates to one or more water activities, the application may, instead of being submitted to the municipal executive, also be submitted to the executive board (dagelijks bestuur) of the water board (waterschap) where the activity or activities will be carried out in their entirety or for the most part. If an administrative authority other than the municipal executive or the executive board is the competent authority, the application may also be submitted to that administrative authority.
By way of derogation from the first paragraph, the application for an environmental permit for a hunting rifle activity shall be submitted to the chief of police.
This article shall apply mutatis mutandis to an application for the amendment of the requirements of an environmental permit or for the revocation of an environmental permit.
De aanvraag om een omgevingsvergunning wordt ingediend bij het college van burgemeester en wethouders van de gemeente waar de activiteit of activiteiten geheel of in hoofdzaak zullen worden verricht. Als de aanvraag betrekking heeft op een of meer wateractiviteiten, kan de aanvraag in plaats van bij het college ook worden ingediend bij het dagelijks bestuur van het waterschap waar de activiteit of activiteiten geheel of in hoofdzaak zullen worden verricht. Als een ander bestuursorgaan dan het college of het dagelijks bestuur het bevoegd gezag is, kan de aanvraag ook bij dat bestuursorgaan worden ingediend.
In afwijking van het eerste lid wordt de aanvraag om een omgevingsvergunning voor een jachtgeweeractiviteit ingediend bij de korpschef.
Dit artikel is van overeenkomstige toepassing op een aanvraag om wijziging van de voorschriften van een omgevingsvergunning of om intrekking van een omgevingsvergunning.
