Interest income derived from the management of the general media reserve is intended for media purposes in the broad sense, to be determined by Our Minister.
Our Minister may make funds available from the interest proceeds to:
the NPO, the RPO, and the national and regional public media institutions;
the consultative body of local public media institutions, as referred to in Article 2.146, under l, the Stimulation Fund for Journalism, as referred to in Article 8.1, and the institutions designated by him for the maintenance and operation of broadcasting orchestras and broadcasting choirs, of a media archive and of an expertise centre for media education;
The Commissariat.
Article 2:167, paragraphs 2 and 3, shall apply mutatis mutandis.
Renteopbrengsten uit het beheer van de algemene mediareserve zijn bestemd voor door Onze Minister te bepalen mediadoeleinden in brede zin.
Onze Minister kan uit de renteopbrengsten gelden ter beschikking stellen aan:
de NPO, de RPO en de landelijke en regionale publieke media-instellingen;
het overlegorgaan van lokale publieke media-instellingen, bedoeld in artikel 2.146, onder l, het Stimuleringsfonds voor de journalistiek, bedoeld in artikel 8.1, en de door hem aangewezen instellingen voor het in stand houden en exploiteren van omroeporkesten en omroepkoren, van een media-archief en van een expertisecentrum voor media-educatie;
het Commissariaat.
Artikel 2.167, tweede en derde lid, is van overeenkomstige toepassing.
