The Board of Directors shall promote the conclusion of agreements between the NPO and the national public media institutions regarding quantitative and qualitative objectives for the media offering, public engagement, and public reach on the distribution channels, as well as the mutual efforts required for these purposes.
The institutions:
make the media offering that they provide in the performance of their public task available for distribution on the distribution channels;
ensure sufficient usage rights for that media offering for distribution, reuse and accessibility on the distribution channels; and
to provide cooperation within the framework of the task of the NPO to coordinate, for the national public media service, the acquisition, management and use of rights to media content and the names and brands associated therewith.
The second paragraph shall also apply to the media offering that broadcasting associations represented in a collaborative broadcasting organization have provided in previous licensing periods.
De raad van bestuur bevordert dat tussen de NPO en de landelijke publieke media-instellingen afspraken tot stand komen over de kwantitatieve en kwalitatieve doelstellingen voor het media-aanbod, de publieksbetrokkenheid en het publieksbereik op de aanbodkanalen en over de wederzijdse inspanningen daarvoor.
De instellingen:
stellen het media-aanbod dat zij ter uitvoering van hun publieke taak verzorgen ter beschikking voor verspreiding op de aanbodkanalen;
zorgen voor voldoende gebruiksrechten op dat media-aanbod voor verspreiding, hergebruik en ontsluiting op de aanbodkanalen; en
verlenen medewerking in het kader van de taak van de NPO om voor de landelijke publieke mediadienst het verwerven, beheren en gebruiken van rechten op media-aanbod en de daaraan verbonden namen en merken te coördineren.
Het tweede lid is ook van toepassing op het media-aanbod dat omroepverenigingen die vertegenwoordigd zijn in een samenwerkingsomroep in eerdere erkenningperiodes hebben verzorgd.
