Insofar as a significant change occurs or has occurred in the physical reality relative to the last update of the relevant geographical area, an administrative authority may notify the Service, stating the reasons, that it is necessary or desirable to amend the relevant authentic data in the basic registration of topography at an earlier time than the next scheduled update of that area.
Upon receipt of a notification as referred to in the first paragraph, the Service shall register the notification, the relevant authentic data, and the annotation "under investigation" in the register referred to in Article 7o, second paragraph. The Service shall notify the administrative body that submitted the notification of this action without delay.
The Service shall decide on a notification as referred to in the first paragraph no later than six weeks after receipt thereof, on the understanding that the Service may extend this period once by a maximum of four weeks.
If the Service decides to give effect to the update requested in the notification referred to in the first paragraph, the Service shall act in accordance with Article 7o, fourth paragraph, and shall notify the administrative body that has submitted a notification as referred to in the first paragraph without delay of its decision and the actions it has performed in accordance with Article 7o, fourth paragraph.
If the Service decides not to give effect to the update requested in the notification referred to in the first paragraph, the annotation "under investigation" shall remain, and the Service shall record its decision with the notification to carry out that update at the time of the next maintenance. Upon completion of that maintenance, Article 7o, paragraphs three through five, shall apply mutatis mutandis to the decision and the notification thereof to the administrative body that submitted the notification, with the proviso that in the fifth paragraph of that article, "second, third or fourth paragraph" shall be read as: fourth paragraph.
Voorzover zich een aanmerkelijke verandering voordoet of heeft voorgedaan in de fysieke werkelijkheid ten opzichte van de laatste bijhouding van het betreffende geografisch gebied, kan een bestuursorgaan aan de Dienst, onder opgaaf van redenen, melden dat het noodzakelijk of wenselijk is de betreffende authentieke gegevens in de basisregistratie topografie op een eerder tijdstip dan bij de eerstvolgende bijhouding van dat gebied te wijzigen.
De Dienst registreert na ontvangst van een melding als bedoeld in het eerste lid de melding, het betreffende authentieke gegeven en de aantekening «in onderzoek» in het register, bedoeld in artikel 7o, tweede lid. De Dienst bericht het bestuursorgaan dat de melding heeft gedaan onverwijld over die handeling.
De Dienst beslist op een melding als bedoeld in het eerste lid uiterlijk binnen zes weken na ontvangst daarvan, met dien verstande dat de Dienst die termijn één keer kan verlengen met ten hoogste vier weken.
Indien de Dienst beslist om gevolg te geven aan de in de melding, bedoeld in het eerste lid, gevraagde actualisering, handelt de Dienst overeenkomstig artikel 7o, vierde lid, en bericht de Dienst het bestuursorgaan dat een melding heeft gedaan als bedoeld in het eerste lid onverwijld over zijn beslissing en de handelingen die hij overeenkomstig artikel 7o, vierde lid, heeft verricht.
Indien de Dienst beslist om geen gevolg te geven aan de in de melding, bedoeld in het eerste lid, gevraagde actualisering, blijft de aantekening «in onderzoek» staan en tekent de Dienst bij de melding zijn beslissing aan om die actualisering te doen plaatsvinden bij de eerstvolgende bijhouding. Na beëindiging van die bijhouding is op de beslissing en de kennisgeving daarvan aan het bestuursorgaan dat de melding heeft gedaan artikel 7o, derde tot en met vijfde lid, van overeenkomstige toepassing, met dien verstande dat in het vijfde lid van dat artikel voor «tweede, derde of vierde lid» wordt gelezen: vierde lid.
