An administrative body shall notify the Service, stating its reasons, of its reasonable doubt regarding the conformity of data designated as authentic pursuant to this Act in the base register of topography with the physical reality at the time of the most recent update of the geographical area in which the geographical object to which that data relates is situated.
Upon receipt of a notification as referred to in the first paragraph, the Service shall take a decision regarding the amendment of the relevant authentic data. If the Service has not taken such a decision within one day after receipt of the relevant notification, the Service shall register the notification, the relevant authentic data, and the annotation "under investigation" with that data in a separate register.
If the Service has not taken a decision regarding the amendment of the relevant authentic data within one day after receipt of the notification referred to in the first paragraph, the Service shall take that decision no later than six weeks after the time at which the updating has been completed according to the basic registration topography catalogue.
The Service shall remove the annotation that an authentic datum is "under investigation" from the register referred to in the second paragraph, simultaneously with the processing of the amendment in the basic registration of topography or, if the relevant notification has not led to an amendment, with the decision not to amend the authentic datum.
The Service shall notify the administrative body that has made a notification as referred to in the first paragraph without delay of any act or decision as referred to in the second, third or fourth paragraph.
Een bestuursorgaan meldt aan de Dienst, onder opgaaf van redenen, zijn gerede twijfel omtrent het in overeenstemming zijn van een krachtens deze wet als authentiek aangemerkt gegeven in de basisregistratie topografie met de fysieke werkelijkheid ten tijde van de laatste bijhouding van het geografisch gebied, waarin het geografische object, waarop dat gegeven betrekking heeft, is gelegen.
De Dienst neemt na ontvangst van een melding als bedoeld in het eerste lid een beslissing omtrent wijziging van het betreffende authentieke gegeven. Indien de Dienst die beslissing niet binnen een dag na ontvangst van de betreffende melding heeft genomen, registreert de Dienst in een afzonderlijk register de melding, het betreffende authentieke gegeven en de aantekening «in onderzoek» bij dat gegeven.
Indien de Dienst niet binnen een dag na ontvangst van de melding, bedoeld in het eerste lid, een beslissing heeft genomen omtrent de wijziging van het betreffende authentieke gegeven, neemt de Dienst die beslissing uiterlijk binnen zes weken na het tijdstip waarop volgens de catalogus basisregistratie topografie de bijhouding is beëindigd.
De Dienst verwijdert de aantekening dat een authentiek gegeven «in onderzoek» is uit het register, bedoeld in het tweede lid, tegelijk met de verwerking van de wijziging in de basisregistratie topografie of, indien de betreffende melding niet tot wijziging heeft geleid, met de beslissing om het authentieke gegeven niet te wijzigen.
De Dienst bericht het bestuursorgaan dat een melding heeft gedaan als bedoeld in het eerste lid onverwijld over een handeling of beslissing als bedoeld in het tweede, derde of vierde lid.
