With regard to a refusal to comply with obligations for the purpose of recovery by third parties, only holders of a spiritual office, civil-law notaries (notarissen), attorneys, physicians, and pharmacists may invoke the circumstance that they are bound by a duty of confidentiality by virtue of their status, office, or profession, insofar as it concerns that which has been entrusted to them in that capacity or has been communicated to them in that capacity.
Voor een weigering om te voldoen aan de verplichtingen ten behoeve van de invordering van derden kunnen alleen bekleders van een geestelijk ambt, notarissen, advocaten, artsen en apothekers zich beroepen op de omstandigheid, dat zij uit hoofde van hun stand, ambt of beroep tot geheimhouding verplicht zijn, voor zover het betreft hetgeen aan hen in die hoedanigheid is toevertrouwd of door hen in die hoedanigheid is meegedeeld.
