Article 41

If the Court finds that there has been a violation of the Convention or the Protocols thereto, and if the internal law of the High Contracting Party concerned allows only partial reparation to be made, the Court shall, if necessary, afford just satisfaction to the injured party.
Indien het Hof vaststelt dat er een schending van het Verdrag of van de Protocollen daarbij heeft plaatsgevonden en indien het nationale recht van de betrokken Hoge Verdragsluitende Partij slechts gedeeltelijk rechtsherstel toelaat, kent het Hof, indien nodig, een billijke genoegdoening toe aan de benadeelde.
